Zambia international forward Lazarous Kambole has rejoined ZESCO United from Yanga on a six month loan deal.

Kambole, 28, returns to the Zambian Super League where he emerged as one of leading strikers in Africa between 2014 and 2019 and fired semi-finals of the CAF Champions League back in 2016.

His form earned him a move to Kaizer Chiefs but poor form and lack of game time saw him released before another ill-fated spell in Tanzania.

He’s now returned to Team Ya Ziko, where he reunites with head coach George Lwandamina.

“Kambole will be a huge boost to the ZESCO United squad, especially at a time when Lwandamina is working tirelessly to build a strong side,” read part of the statement.
