Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Lazarous Kambole has found himself a new club after struggling to regain his form since leaving the Glamour Boys.

Ex-Chiefs and Young Africans striker Lazarous Kambole has secured a move to Nkana FC, the record 13-time Zambian Premier League champions.

Kambole’s career has faced ups and downs since his high-profile transfer from ZESCO United to Chiefs in 2019, where he struggled to meet expectations despite his impressive reputation.

At Naturena, Kambole’s performance fell short of expectations. Over three years, he managed just two goals and one assist in 41 appearances.

His stint with Tanzanian giants Young Africans (Yanga) saw further difficulties, including being deregistered and loaned out without making a debut.

Last season, Kambole rediscovered his form at ZESCO United and now embarks on a new journey with Nkana FC for the 2024/25 season, returning to his home country.

Kambole has earned 17 caps for the Zambian national team, the Chipolopolo, scoring seven goals since his senior debut in 2018 under then-head coach Wedson Nyirenda.

His return to Zambian football with Nkana FC could further enhance his career and contributions to the national team.
