Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Philani Zulu has joined Sekhukhune United as a free-agent after parting ways with Amazulu last season.
Zulu has been picked up on a free transfer as he was a free agent after he left AmaZulu at the end of last season.

The former Maritzburg United left-back, who has been without the club for six months now, will be reunited with coach Brandon Truter, whom he worked with at AmaZulu for three months last season.
This after Truter joined Usuthu as the caretaker coach in March this year last to replace coach Benni McCarthy.
Truter was then given the Usuthu post on the permanent basis after AmaZulu finished in the top eight.

However, Truter did not stay long and left his Usuthu role in September before being unveiled as new Sekhukhune head coach in November.
According to iDiski Times, the move was done by Basia Michaels, who is also the agent of Truter. And the player has signed a deal of six months.
Zulu will have an option to remain at Sekhukhune beyond this season, if he impresses the club.
The 30-year-old is already the second new signing by Sekhukhune, following the arrival of Given Mashikinya from Maritzburg United as they bolster their squad before the transfer window officially opens next January.

Sekhukhune, despite having signed some top and experienced players in the PSL, have been underperforming this season.
They are second from bottom on the DStv Premiership table with just 11 points after 12 matches, levelled with Maritzburg, Zulu’s former club.
