Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Brighton midfielder could be set to return to Europe after a Belgian club have shown interest in signing the Bafana Bafana star.
According to The South African, R33 Million has been offered to the Egyptian giants Al Ahly SC by the Belgian side, Anderlecht.
Percy Tau played for the European club when he was loaned by the English Premier League side, Brighton & Hove Albion back in 2020.
However, the club decided not sell him permanently to the Belgian side. Instead, they decided to cut his loan short at Anderlecht as Potter felt that Percy Tau could play a major role at his club.
After return to Brighton & Hove Albion, Percy Tau struggled for game time. He was then released at the end of the season after the Egyptian giants showed interest in signing him on a permanent deal.
It has now been reported that a R33 Million offer has been tabled by the Belgian club. However, it is believed that Al Ahly SC want at least double of that amount for the player.
