An alleged drunk police office has been arrested and detained at Orlando Stion after his misbehaviour that surely brought the SAPS into disrepute.
Fans were entertained by Constable George Chiloane during the game MTN8 semi-final, first leg tie between home side, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns, which ultimately ended goalless.
According to Daily Sun, Chiloane was caught on camera in the middle of the pitch at half-time dancing to a fraction of supporters who were ululating and appreciating his dance moves with whistles and clapping of hands.
But it comes out that Chiliane was not supposed to ahve been at the stadium, in police uniform as he was not on duty on the day.
A police case that was opned against Chiloane said he was stationed at High SPEED North and charged with drunkness and invading the pitch.
“The member was supposed to be on duty this morning (Saturday) and he was turned back by his commander because he was drunk,” details from the police docket emerge.
“He proceeded to Orlando Stadium to watch the soccer game between Pirates vs Sundowns while still in uniform and he was without a state fire arm.
“The member was seen inside the stadium and dancing for the music. He was recently arrested and detained.
