Roger De Sa will spend the next few years in Qatar after agreeing to be Carlos Queiroz’ right-hand man with the national team of the recent hosts of the FIFA World Cup.
De Sa will once again be Queiroz’s assistant, fulfilling the same role he did recently with both Egypt and Iran.

Queiroz was unveiled as the new manager of Qatar earlier this month, and he and De Sa will now plot the next four years for their national team.
It has been confirmed to iDiski Times that De Sa has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal and will begin work on 1 March.
The former Bidvest Wits, Orlando Pirates, Ajax Cape Town, Maritzburg United and Cape Umoya United head coach first worked with Queiroz as goalkeeper coach when the Portuguese mentor was in charge of Bafana Bafana two decades ago.

Queiroz also roped De Sa in at the 2010 FIFA World Cup with the Portuguese national team.
Queiroz and De Sa’s task will be to help Qatar qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the United States, which would be their first ever qualification after they were seeded as hosts for the 2022 tournament.
