Known for her high-energy performances and deep connection with fans, DBN Gogo’s latest feat has taken her career to new heights.

Dancing through the day and night
The record-breaking set took place at Truth Nightclub in Midrand, where music lovers gathered in their numbers to support her throughout the marathon performance.

For a full day, DBN Gogo kept the crowd entertained, spinning a wide range of sounds that kept fans dancing from start to finish.

Despite the physical demands, she powered through with minimal breaks, stepping away only briefly to change outfits, use the restroom, and even have her hair fixed while still on stage.

The event became more than just a performance; it turned into a shared experience between the DJ and her supporters.

While some attendees briefly left to rest and returned later, others remained on the dance floor for hours, matching her endurance and celebrating the milestone with her.

Adding to the emotional support, her family also took to the stage during the set, encouraging her and giving her strength to push through the demanding challenge.

Several industry peers joined her on stage, adding to the electric atmosphere.

Among them were acclaimed artists such as Moonchild Sanelly, rapper Cassper Nyovest, DJ Prince Kaybee, DJ and dancer Morda, DJ Zinhle, and rapper Chicco, who helped keep the momentum alive.

As the final hour approached, DBN Gogo showed no visible signs of fatigue, dancing alongside performers, including dancers known for working with Uncle Waffles. Their energetic Bacardi dance moves sent the crowd into a frenzy.

At the end of the historic set, emotions ran high as DBN Gogo broke down in tears before addressing the crowd.

“Thank you so much for your time, your money, your energy, everything you gave to be here with me. Some of you were here the whole day. I saw people come and go, and then come back again. That means so much to me.”

“I don’t even know what would possess someone to do something like this, but when we talk about community, this is exactly what it looks like. You literally held me up through it all. I couldn’t have done this without you.”

“I’m not a person of many words, but I just want to say thank you. I love you. I truly do. I’m never gonna do this again, but if I was, it won’t be like this. I can do a 24-hour party with people, not just me,” she said.
