The Phomolong Ladies Football Club alleged that the Brazilians failed to compensate him for the players that they acquired from his one. Mashile claims that most of Sundowns’ ladies team players are from his club.
He said to the Daily Sun:
“Most of the ladies who play for Sundowns are from Phomolong, but nobody ever spoke to me. I am the foundation of Sundowns ladies football club, but instead they spoke to the players’ parents on the side to get the clearance.

“I am indirectly working for Sundowns so the least they can do is to form a partnership with me or employ me to develop players for their ladies team.”
Sundowns coach Jerry Tshabalala refuted Mashile’s claims, saying:
“Marks needs to be honest and say exactly what it is that he wants from us because I only know of two players who came from Phomolong. I found them here in 2012 when I took over as coach in 2019.
“When one of the players played in the World Cup in 2019, she did mention that she came from Phomolong ladies club.
“There were funds deposited into Marks’ bank account after that. We don’t know what more he wants because from 2012 ’til now I have not seen other players that came from Phomolong.”
