Reports states that the Cape town based side, Cape Town City Football Club, rejected offers from Kaizer Chiefs and Sekhukhune United for their in-form midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane.

According to Kick Off Magazine, Kaizer Chiefs and Sekhukhune United made attempts to sign Mduduzi Mdantsane from Cape Town City Football Club, however, The Citizens were not interested in letting go of the central midfielder.
The January transfer window was officially closed on the 31st of January, which was just few days ago, and the reports claims that on the deadline day, Amakhosi were interested in signing the former Baroka Football Club captain and midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane.

When a source spoke to the media, he revealed that two clubs from the Dstv Premiership did try to convince Cape Town City Football Club, however, the club parted ways with Mpho Makola, which made it almost impossible for them to release another player who plays the similar position.
