It has been revealed that Kaizer Chiefs Football Club are still interested in signing the SuperSport United defender Luke Fleurs even though they signed Edmilson Dove and Zitha Kwinika.

According to The South African, Kaizer Chiefs have not closed the door or abandoned the plan to sign SuperSport United youngster Luke Fleurs.

The talented defender was previously linked with a move to Amakhosi, however, the Soweto giants decided to sign another centre-backs.

It has been revealed that Kaizer Chiefs Football Club are still interested in signing the SuperSport United defender Luke Fleurs even though they signed Edmilson Dove and Zitha Kwinika.

A source from Soccer Laduma revealed that Amakhosi sees the Matsatsantsa defender as a long-term solution for the club.

Even though they are interested in signing the defender, however, Amakhosi are not struggling at the back as they still have Zitha Kwinika, Edmilson Dove, Njabulo Ngcobo, Austin Dube, Eric Mathoho and also Siyabonga Ngezana.

The future of some players though looks uncertain at the Glamour boys. The likes of Eric Mathoho, Syabonga Ngezana and Austin Dube were linked with a move away from the club.
