Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Mokete Tsotetsi does not think it would be a bad idea for the Soweto giants to go for Kermit Erasmus on transfer deadline day.
According to Soccer Laduma, Erasmus is looking to make a move before Thursday’s deadline and is believed to be interested in a move to Kaizer Chiefs.
It’s understood that the salary package might be one of the concerning factors which could affect the player’s exit from Chloorkop, but there is still time to make something happen before the window closes.

Kermit Erasmus
The former Orlando Pirates forward has a year left on his contract with Sundowns and one of the options could be for the DStv Premiership champions to loan him out for the season.
Chiefs have Ashley du Preez and Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana to call on upfront, but Tsotetsi feels they could do with a little bit more support in the form of another striker.
He does, however, insist that the signing should only be made if head coach Arthur Zwane feels Erasmus can fit into his system, because it would not make sense to sign the player just to add to the numbers.
“Erasmus is one of the good strikers we have in South Africa and he is clinical in front of goals. I think they can go for him if they feel that he can suit their style of play and to also help the new striker from Burundi,” Tsotetsi told the Siya crew.
“Anything is possible, to be honest.”
