Just hours before the kick-off of the clash against Arrows, Arthur Zwane confirmed Edmilson Dove was the latest player to be ruled out.
“We have had a good week of preparations, though we lost two players in Edmilson Dove due to flu and Tower (Erick Mathoho) to injury when we were playing a practice match against our reserve side. We are looking for options going forward and to make sure we have the right balance.”

On what to expect from opponents Golden Arrows:
The guys have been looking forward to the game and working very hard. We are playing against a difficult team, one of the teams that always give us a tough time when we play against them because of the way they play.
They have very dynamic players, v who are very good in one versus one situations, and who create a lot of opportunities.
On what fans should expect from Chiefs:
We also have our strong points and are also trying to capitalise on what we can do better and looking to try and keep things tight in defence and to be more clinical in taking the chances we create.

On the Chiefs objectives for the remainder of the season:
We are in a position where we can be able to strike a balance. We want to go as far as we can in the cup and win every game we can in the league.
So we respect all teams, but treat games the same in terms of the attitude of getting a positive result in all the games we play.
