Kaizer Chiefs have welcomed their sixth signings of the current transfer window, Bradley Cross, from Golden Arrows.

The talented left-back has committed his exceptional skills and versatility to Amakhosi for the next four years.

Cross, who as a teenager played for Schalke 04’s Under-19 team in Germany, as well as captained Newcastle United’s U21 and U23 teams in England, is known for his dynamic play and defensive prowess.

He was a standout performer in the Premier Soccer League last season. His hard work was rewarded with a call-up to the national team, Bafana Bafana, by coach Hugo Broos.

His versatility, and ability to contribute both defensively and offensively, makes him a valuable addition to the Chiefs squad. He also plays as a centre-back.

“Bradley’s signing aligns with our strategic vision of continuing to strengthen our team and get ready compete when the season starts,” says Sporting Director, Kaizer Motaung Jr.

“We are confident that his addition will bring a new level of energy, international experience and skill to our squad. We look forward to seeing him in action and contributing to our success.”

The 23-year-old new signing expressed his excitement about joining Kaizer Chiefs, stating, “I am honoured to be part of such a prestigious Club. I am ready to give my best and help Kaizer Chiefs achieve their goals and objectives.”

Cross, who was born in Kempton Park, will join his new teammates immediately as they prepare for the upcoming Betway Premiership season, which gets underway on 14 September for the Glamour Boys.
