Early Saturday afternoon, IPSS Medical Rescue responded to the N2 Northbound near King Shaka, after light motor vehicle collided into a light pole.

Paramedics arrived to find the vehicle split in 2 pieces, the wreckage of the VW barely recognisable.
Miraculously, the driver was found to have sustained only minor injuries.

With more rain expected over the coming days, we urge motorists to slow down and increase following distance in the wet weather.
