The Eastern Cape based side, Chippa united, has parted ways 16 senior players as they are paving a way for the upcoming season.
Chippa united did not have good season, however, they manage to survive the relegation. They are now looking to turn things around before the new season starts.
Here is the full list of the players who were released by Chippa united, including the former Kaizer Chiefs and Supersport united midfielder, Kamohelo Mahlatsi and also the former Orlando Pirates midfielder Luvuyo Memela.
These are the players who were released are:

• Siphelele Luthuli
• Darren Johnson
• Menzi Ndwandwe
• Andile Fakude
• Kamohelo Mahlatsi
• Diego Appolis
• Khanyisile Mayo
• Siseko Manona
• Yuriq Conwood
• Andile Mbenyane
Meanwhile, Goodman Mosele and Malebogo Modise return to Orlando Pirates Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns, respectively.
