Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has defended the form of Keagan Dolly and confirmed that Khama Billiat will not be in the starting line-up any time soon.
Dolly, 30, was one of the better performers during the 2021/22 campaign at the club when he was involved in 12 goals, with many believing he could still reach another level at the Amakhosi.

However, he has struggled for consistent returns this campaign, only netting three goals and setting up two more – his last in October 2022.
Zwane, though, insisted that football go through these down phases and he’s confident his winger will soon return back to his best.
“I’m not really concerned, it’s the nature of the game where players will blow hot and cold, making mistakes here and there – some mistakes that are costly,” he said when asked by iDiski Times about Dolly’s form.
“It’s how I bring them back and get the best out of them as a coach, rather than focussing on the mistakes because football is a game of mistakes.”
Zwane also revealed that Billiat, who last played in the 1-0 Soweto Derby win, will remain sidelined after suffering a new setback.
“Unfortunately we’re not going to see Khama anytime soon,” he added.

“He’s still struggling, we’re still waiting for the doctors’ report and we’ll take it from there.”
Chiefs, who have dropped into sixth place after suffering three successive defeats, will return to action on Sunday when they will take on 10th-placed Royal AM.
