Truck accident in KwaZulu-Natal: At 12H51 Monday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the M7 / Hans Dettman Highway in Moseley Park, Durban.
According to Arrive Alive, there was a truck accident in KwaZulu-Natal. Reports indicate that the driver of a truck lost control on the wet downhill, resulting in the truck jack-knifing.

The reefer container on the trailer load shifted, resulting in the container crushing the driver in the process.
Medics arrived on the scene and found an adult male stuck in the front cab, he was assessed, however, showed no signs of life and was sadly declared deceased on the scene.
Rescue crews were forced to use the Jaws-of-life to free the driver from the wreck.
Circumstances leading up to the incident will be investigated by the relevant authorities.
