The midfielder had a brief professional career, making just four senior appearances for the now-defunct Royal AM.
His four matches for Thwihli Thwahla came against Cape Town City, Richards Bay, Golden Arrows, and AmaZulu.
After Royal AM ceased to exist due to a dispute between owner Shauwn Mkhize and SARS, Mpisane took his career to Eswatini, where he was registered as a player for his mother’s new club, Mbabane Highlanders AM.
He made a few appearances for Mbabane AM, and it is now claimed that he has decided to call it quits in order to focus on administrative duties.
According to Eswatini Financial Times, via Sportscast Eswatini, Mpisane has been deregistered as a player at Mbabane AM after deciding he will no longer play.
Nicknamed the “Expensive Number 10” in Eswatini, Mpisane’s decision has opened up space in the Mbabane squad to sign a foreign player, as he occupied one of the foreign slots due to being South African.
