AmaZulu have named Arthur Zwane and Vusi Vilakazi as their new co-coaching duo following the exit of Spaniard Pablo Martin, the club confirmed on Tuesday.

Zwane is a former Kaizer Chiefs player and coach who had been at Naturena for more than two decades, while Vilakazi, an ex-striker, has led Usuthu’s cross-town rivals Lamontville Golden Arrows and most recently Richards Bay.

“Their combined experience as both coaches and former professional players will be crucial in developing our younger talents and guiding our seasoned players in the task ahead,” AmaZulu president Sandile Zungu said.

Usuthu have made a dismal start to the season, losing their first three Betway Premiership games, leading to the departure of Martin.

Their next fixture will be a Carling Knockout encounter with Stellenbosch FC, before a Betway Premiership clash away at Orlando Pirates on October 25.
