Lesego was shot dead in an alleged robbery at her home in Mabopane, Tshwane.
She was brutally killed in the presence of her family members, including her stepdad.
The mfundisi appeared in the Ga-Rankuwa Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 11 March along with his co-accused Malesela Kekana (29).
Masina opted for a legal aid representative after his lawyer Advocate Kgomo withdrew from the matter.
State prosecutor Gugulethu Mathatho said two other suspects are still at large.
Lesego’s aunt, Phanga Thage said Lesego should continue fighting from her grave to make sure her killers rot in jail.
“This thing of coming to court and seeing Mpostola every day is painful knowing what he did and not confessing. We trusted him and treated him like a brother.
“I’m so disappointed. He raised Lesego from the age of two. He planned Lesego’s death. He looked like a good person and was a pastor,” she said.
Lesego’s sister, Ofentse (28) said: “We want a life sentence for those who killed Lesego. We remember my sister and mum. We are no longer safe, even at home.”
Family friend Joseph Letshabo said: “I hate Mpostola after what he did. This man was a pastor. I even untied him after the robbery.”
