A Man apparently found a burnt Mini Cooper with human remains inside it and is believed to be 3 people that were reported missing.
This shocking incident happened on Tuesday, 3 February 2026, when he was chopping wood in the bushes in Kgabalatsane, North West.

He then quickly called police and the community.
According to North West police spokeswoman Colonel Adéle Myburgh, they’re awaiting DNA and other results to confirm the ownership of the Mini Cooper.
She said a dad reported three missing persons at Hebron Police Station after his 33-year-old daughter, seven-year-old granddaughter, and boyfriend (39) failed to return home on Sunday, 1 February 2026.
Myburgh stated that they were last seen in the boyfriend’s Mini Cooper vehicle.
“Hebron Police are investigating three counts of murder and no arrests were made,” she said.

She further said that police investigations are continuing to confirm the ownership of the vehicle and identity of the human bones found.
