South African midfielder Njabulo Blom has now been deregistered by his Vietnamese club, Nam Dinh.
Blom will go the entire 2025/26 season without making a single official appearance for his new club.

This follows the player being deregistered by the Vietnamese side for the remainder of the season, according to news outlet Thethao 24/7.
The information is also confirmed by Transfermarkt, which revealed that the former Kaizer Chiefs man is no longer eligible to compete in V.League 1 until 30 June 2026, when the season officially concludes.
Blom has been injured since joining the Vietnamese club in July 2025 from Major League Soccer side St. Louis City FC.
Just months after joining Nam Dinh, the player underwent surgery abroad, and his return to action remains unconfirmed.
As a result, Nam Dinh have now replaced Blom in the club’s registered foreign player slots with French-born DR Congo international Arnaud Lusamba.
Lusamba was signed by Nam Dinh in October 2025, but he was unable to feature earlier as there was no room to register new players under the foreign quota, which included South Africans Blom and Percy Tau.

While Nam Dinh are still unable to confirm Blom’s expected return date, the 26-year-old will not make his official debut for the club this term.
