She was dressed in black and wore a black bucket hat, which covered most of her face.
Nolwazi (42) is facing charges of fraud. She’s accused of stealing almost R700 000 from the set of Queen Modjadji.
Her case has now been postponed to 8 April 2026 for further investigations.
The state asked that the court allow them to postpone so they could get more statements. They said more than five statements need to be obtained.
Magistrate Leshaba allowed for the postponement.
“The case is postponed to 8 April for further investigations, and more statements from witnesses need to be obtained,” she said.
Daily Sun broke the story in October 2024, and at the time, several sources revealed that she worked as a casting manager on the show.
“Nolwazi worked on the set as a casting manager. She recruited agencies with extras, and after they had rendered their services, they were asked to send invoices.”
“The different companies sent their invoices. She did something that wasn’t right,” a source claimed.
“She changed the amounts and bank details so the money would go to another unknown company associated with her.”
“People from the agencies went to Rhythm World demanding payment and claiming they were never paid.
“This was a surprise for the production company, so investigations were started, and they discovered what she had done,” they said.

When called for comment at the time, Nolwazi said she wasn’t aware of the issue.
“I don’t know about it. My contract with Queen Modjadji ended about three months ago, so I don’t know,” she said.
