Pauline Chauke (27), the stepdaughter, claimed the 57-year-old stepdad allegedly made sexual advances towards her and said, “you have a beautiful body” and “upakile” while dating her mum.

“This happened on several occasions whenever he met me. Even during the day when my brother Themba was shot dead with two bullets he said such things and I went and told my mum,” she claimed.

Pauline claimed Themba allegedly died for protecting his mum.

She claimed the stepdad allegedly wanted to kill her mum, and Themba intervened and that’s how he was killed.

“How can a man I call my dad tell me he loves me. When I asked him, he would say he is joking. He told me he should have chosen me instead of my mum because I’m beautiful,” Pauline claimed.

She claimed after telling her mum on the day about her stepdad’s advances, her mum got angry and splashed suspect with water and told him that “it’s over between them”.

She claimed her stepdad became aggressive and went into the house and took a gun.

“When Themba saw what was happening, he ran to our mum to intervene, and the stepdad shot him dead,” she claimed.

The family said they want a life sentence for the stepdad and don’t want him to get bail either.

“After killing my brother, he jumped over the neighbour’s fence and ran to the taxis. My boyfriend managed to grab him until he got arrested,” she said.

She claimed the stepdad has been in a relationship with her mum for two years.

“My brother was a good person and liked dancing,” said Pauline.
