Foreign national arrested after police find military explosives at Malvern East home.
A 33-year-old foreign national was arrested in Malvern East, Ekurhuleni, after police discovered him in possession of military explosives on Friday, 9 January.

Gauteng police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo confirmed that members of the Anti-Gang Unit received information about the suspect’s illegal possession of explosives.
“Following the tip-off, an operation was conducted, and the suspect was found at his home with military-grade explosives,” said Masondo.

The man is expected to appear before the Germiston Magistrates Court soon, facing charges of possession of military explosives.
