News reaching the media are that the KwaZulu-Natal based side, Royal AM are looking to steal the former Kaizer Chiefs and Bloemfontein Celtic midfielder right under the nose of AmaZulu.
According to Kick Off Magazine, Usuthu might lose their target to their neighbours after it was reported that they have made a late bid in order to convince the player into joining them over Amazulu.
Kaizer Chiefs announced last week that they have parted ways with not less than nine players, while the Kenyan midfielder, Antony Akumu Agay was placed on a transfer list.

When the club parted ways with the player, they stated that this is because of his behavior which was unacceptable.
The 27-year old was reported last week that he has reached an agreement with AmaZulu. However, a source state that there are some issues and they are yet to reach an agreement.
It is also believed that he might consider joining Royal AM instead of AmaZulu.
