Former Kaizer Chiefs and Bloemfontein Celtic defender Eric Mathoho has been spotted training with the Tshwane side, SuperSport United.
The Limpopo born star parted ways with the Glamour Boys after 11 years with the club, during which he won four trophies, including two Premier Soccer League titles.

However, after only featuring one minute in the past season and with his deal expiring, Chiefs opted not to renew his deal and had a heartfelt farewell for ‘Tower’.

The former Bloemfontein Celtic defender made 262 appearances in the famous gold and black jersey, scoring 28 goals.
He also has 34 Bafana Bafana caps under his belt.This publication can confirm that ‘Tower’ is training with SuperSport United and hopes to join the Tshwane giants.
With Matsatsantsa participating in the CAF-interclub competition this season, Mathoho could add more experience as he has been to the CAF Champions League final with Amakhosi, according to iDiski times.
He previously worked with Hunt at Chiefs, and according to a well-placed source he was part of the Matsatsantsa team that faced Pretoria Callies in pre-season match that took place on Wednesday.
SuperSport have already confirmed three signings so far, signing Phathutshedzo Nange on a free transfer after his Chiefs deal came to an end, and Siphesihle Ndlovu from Orlando Pirates after he was released by the Buccaneers.

In addition, they also got Ronald Pfumbidzai on a free transfer from Chippa United.
They will be participating in five competitions this season, including CAF Confederations Cup and the new Carling Knockout Cup.
