Pitso wins his first Coach Of The Month award in Saudi Arabia

Pitso Mosimane has won the Coach of the Month award in the Saudi Arabian First Division, Yelo league for his incredible exploits with Al Ahli.

The South African tactician has stamped his authority on his new side, winning nine of the last 11 league games.

Overall, he’s picked up 12 wins, six draws and just defeats since taking over Al Ahli Saudi to lead them into second spot on the log.

Mosimane was rewarded for his side’s exploits in February, winning the Coach of the Month award in February when his side picked up three wins and one defeat.

Al Ahli were even in first but dropped to second after losing their last game before the international break to Al Riyadh.

The result saw Al Hazem clim back into first spot, with 53 points after 25 games – one ahead of Mosimane’s side, while Al Riyadh sit in third with 51 points.

Al Ahli, though, have opened a 10-point gap to the non-promotion spots, with fifth place currently held by Al Arabi.
