South African winger Kobamelo Kodisang continued with his great form in the Portuguese second division for Moreirense.
The 23-year-old has added another goal to his tally for his side Moreirense when they got the better of CD Trofense 1-0 on Saturday, 4 March 2023.
The game took place at Parque de Jogos Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas Stadium.
The future Bafana Bafana star netted his ninth goal of the season and played the entire 90 minutes of the showdown.
The ex-Kaizer Chiefs target has been phenomenal for the Portuguese outfit, this campaign. He also contributed three assists in the process.
To put a cherry on top, so far, he has walked away with four Man of the Match accolades this campaign.
Moreirense had played against Trofense in one game this season.
Currently, Moreirense ranks first in the Portuguese second division with 53 points from 23 outings.
Whereas Trofense are languishing at position 17, having collected 19 points from the same number of games played by their counterparts.
This was Kodisang’s second start for Portuguese second-division log leaders since his injury setback.
The ex-Plantinum Stars player spent two months on the sidelines. He had sustained a knee injury in a training session back in December 2022.
It goes without a doubt that the South African-born has proven his doubters wrong with consistent stellar performances since joining Moreirense from SC Braga B on a season-long loan deal.
Given his freakish displays, it is safe to say that Kodisang isn’t just a Moreirense star player, but he is a cracking package, workhorse, and ever-reliable finisher.
Moreirense’s next task will be against Penafiel at home on Friday, 10 March 2023.
The game is scheduled to start at 20:00 [South African standard time].
