Chippa United have made another coaching change for the 36th time in 12 years. Kurt Lentjies has replaced Morgan Mammila.

Following last weekend’s 2-1 loss to Swallows FC, the Gqeberha club have re-appointed Lentjies to rescue the club from relegation with nine games remaining.

“Chippa United have opted to replace Morgan Mammila as head coach with Kurt Lentjies, who is taking over as interim coach until the end of 2022/23, while Mammila moved into an admin role at the club,” iDiskiTimes‘ Sinethemba Makonco reported ahead of the club’s expected announcement.

According to FootballSA, the decision is a 35th [36th including Gavin Hunt] coaching change in 12 years.
