The Last-16 of the 2022/23 Nedbank Cup has been confirmed after the draw took place at the SuperSport studios in Randburg on Wednesday evening.

SuperSport United were the first high-profile exit of the tournament as Gauteng ABC Motsepe League leaders Dondol Stars stunned them in the last-32.

The 2-1 win over the three-time winners of the competition has been one of the stories that have highlighted once more the magic of the ‘Ke Yona’ Cup competition.

Meanwhile, the traditional big-three Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates all advanced with wins over Maritzburg United, Richards Bay, and All Stars respectively.

Mpheni Home Defenders, who defeated Clarewood in the last round are the only other team, alongside Dondol Stars, remaining from the third tier of South African football.
