Al Ahli head coach Pitso Mosimane has been linked with one of Kaizer Chiefs most valuable players.
Khama Billiat has been linked with a possible move to Mosimane’s Al Ahli in Saudi Arabia, according to SundayWorld.
It now seems that the Amakhosi’s stars days are truly numbered at Naturena.
First things first, Billiats current situation does not look good.
He is left with less than six months left in his current contract and Amakhosi management are unlikely to renew his contract.
This is because he has been injury-prone and he is costing management a lot of money.
Especially, for a player who is spending more time on the sidelines than on the pitch in recent months.
Furthermore, he was is paid to score goals and when he does play he seldom offers much on attack.
It is these two reasons that could spell the end of his Naturena playing days.
“His contract will definitely not be renewed [by Chiefs],” stated the relevant informant on the same publication.
However, this does not mean the end of his playing days as he has been linked with a possible move to Al Ahli in Saudi Arabia.
“His services have been offered to Pitso Mosimane’s club Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia,” The same publication reported.
Moreover, Billiat flourished under Jingles when he was at Mamelodi Sundowns. So, a move to the Middle East will provide him with a fresh start relink him with the coach he excelled under.
