Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Junior Khanye believes the Amakhosi should go all out for Andile Jali, as he named seven quality players his former club should look to sign.

The Glamour Boys only added Christian Saile Basomboli in January transfer window and lost Njabulo Blom in December.

Head coach Arthur Zwane has continuously stated that the club will only sign the right players, who add quality to the squad and won’t act out of desperation.

However, several fans were left disappointed with the club’s lack of transfer activity in January after Kaizer Chiefs Football Manager Bobby Motaung had indicated the club could add more new faces before Tuesday’s deadline.

But after no other players were added, Khanye discussed which quality players he would target if he was in charge at Naturena and not an analyst.

“For me, they should break the bank and sign Andile Jali on a pre-contract,” he told iDiski Times.

“They should go for [Sphelele] Mkhulise, because he’s not getting much game-time, only the three recent games now. Mosa Lebusa, from Sundowns.

“They could’ve gone for [Mduduzi] Mdantsane from Cape Town City, [Thato] Mokeke as well and bring back Pule Ekstein, he’s played against them recently, one of the best talents.

“Should’ve brought Thabo Qalinge as well, the former Orlando Pirates player, irrespective of his age, South Africans mustn’t be concerned about that because some of the young players also fail.

“They should’ve looked at [Abbubaker] Mobara.”
