Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene could be handed a new role within the club in a shake-up of the technical team.
The Brazilians are in search of a new fitness trainer and assistant goalkeeper coach after the departure of Riedoh Berdien and Marcus Mashilo.
Head coach Rulani Mokwena announced recently that his team were set to make further changes to the technical team following a managerial overhaul.
Mokwena was soley handed the head coach reins at Chloorkop with Manqoba Mngqithi and Steve Komphela acting as assistant coaches.
Former Highlands Park fitness trainer Simone Conley has already been linked to Sundowns, while Mweene is being earmarked for the position of assistant goalkeeper coach.
“The team is looking for an assistant goalkeeper coach, but chances are high that Kennedy Mweene will assume that role at Mamelodi Sundowns,” a source within the club revealed to KickOff.
