Kaizer Chiefs target Dino Ndlovu has responded to reports linking him with Amakhosi who’re desperately looking for a striker.

The Glamour Boys are said to be chasing the signature of the 32-year-old centre-forward who’s had a blossoming career abroad since he left South Africa.

Ndlovu admitted that he’s heard of Kaizer Chiefs’ interest, but says nobody from Naturena has approached him.

Crucially he added he wouldn’t “say no” to the Soweto giants.

“Who would say no to Chiefs when they are knocking on the door?,” asked Ndlovu at Marawa Sports Worldwide.

“Who would say no to Pirates when they are knocking on the door? For me it’s about the project but to be honest nobody has ever said anything from Kaizer Chiefs.

“I don’t know these rumours that rumoring around the media where they come from.”

Asked where the speculation is coming from, he said, “It cannot be from nowhere, it’s highly impossible.”

“If you have the money you can fulfil the desire but in this situation, it’s not about the money. Chiefs has been of the biggest clubs in South Africa before [Mamelodi] Sundowns, we knew Chiefs and [Orlando] Pirates.

“Chiefs has won so many domestic titles and any player who comes abroad, if they would ask him, ‘where you wanna go?’ he would go to Chiefs.

“But that’s not the case at the moment because I see stories that are rumoring around the media I’m about to sign at Chiefs but nobody at Chiefs has said anything to me.”

Ndlovu went on to reveal that he has an offer on the table abroad and any team that wants his services would have to take action before he signs elsewhere.

“But as I said I’m not closing any door for anyone, this is football, I’m always open to discuss. I’m one person who don’t want to burn bridges, they call it negotiations,” he added.

“You open the other door, people speak and you open you own door, you listen and if it’s something worthwhile, why not?

“But they must know that there is something on the table for me, so it’s just a matter of time if they don’t come forefront, by the middle or before the end of December, I would have signed somewhere.”
