Orlando Pirates are sweating over the fitness of Bandile Shandu and goalkeeper Richard Ofori ahead of Tuesday’s DStv Premiership clash against Golden Arrows.
Arrows, who snatched a late point against Stellenbosch FC last Friday, are set to play host to Pirates at the Princess Magogo Stadium on Tuesday for an encounter in which the away team will be looking to snap a three match winless run in the league.

The Buccaneers were held to a 1-1 draw by AmaZulu in their most recent match over the weekend and were dealt a double blow after goalkeeper Richard Ofori and utility player Bandile Shandu were both forced off through injury.
Both players are set to go undergo a late assessment in order to determine their availability although they are able to welcome back defender Thabiso Monyane who has returned from suspension.
“Pirates will be able to call upon wing-back Thabiso Monyane, who is eligible to play on Tuesday after serving out his two-match suspension,” the club said in a statement.
“His return comes amid doubts over the fitness of Bandile Shandu, who limped off in the first half against AmaZulu.
“Another player to be assessed after having to be withdrawn early during Friday’s outing is goalkeeper Richard Ofori, who was replaced by Siyabonga Mpontshane in the second half.”
Pirates currently occupy the fifth position in the DStv Premiership standings with 16 points from their opening 11 matches, three points ahead of eighth-placed Arrows who have a game in hand.
