Kaizer Chiefs legend has been spotted at his former club over the last few weeks and an insider has given insight into Yeye’s presence at the village.
Soccer Laduma initially reported in June that both Yeye, as well as his former teammate and business partner Siphiwe Tshabalala had been approached by Chiefs to take up different roles within the club structures.
While Shabba appears to be undecided over whether he wants to continue playing or call it a day on his glorious career, Siya sources have informed the crew that Yeye has surfaced at Naturena.
According to the source, the dreadlocked former Bafana Bafana midfielder has been a regular at the village, where he has been helping out with various coaching aspects with the club’s development teams.
The source further explained that the 40-year-old has not signed any contract with the club as yet.
Chiefs recently welcomed back club legend and former Marumo Gallants assistant coach David Mathebula as head coach of Amakhosi’s U19 team, as well as assistant coach to the reserve side.
