Kaizer Chiefs full-back Reeve Frosler has revealed when the team will “kick on” and start winning games on a regular basis, insisting it is too early in the season to write Amakhosi off.

Frosler, who has featured in Chiefs’ opening three matches of the 2022/23 season believes the club’s faithful should not panic but rather have faith in them as the Soweto giants will start to dominate as soon as the new players settle in.

Some of the new players who have been in Arthur Zwane’s starting line-up are Ashley du Preez Siyethemba Sithebe, Yusuf Maart, and Zitha Kwinika, who made a return to his boyhood club Chiefs ahead of the new campaign.

“It’s still early. We still got quite a few new players in the team, so we’re working on trying to understand each other, trying to see what works best for us or how it best works for us,” Frosler told journalists at Chiefs media open day in Naturena.

“We still want to figure out our team so we ask our supporters to be patient with us, there is nothing that we are not working on and hopefully with a little bit of more work we can achieve what we want to achieve, and we can just get better onwards.

“We just work well together and the understanding it is a bit easier now and I know it takes a while to gel with certain players, but it is a learning process set up.

“It might be early in the season, but we are trying to We’re trying to figure out our own combinations first and hopefully we can kick on after that,” he added as Chiefs prepare to take on DStv Premiership rookies Richards Bay at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday evening.
