Bafana Bafana international Siyanda Xulu has reportedly jetted out of South Africa as he is set to join a new club abroad.
Xulu parted ways with Israel club Hapoel Tel Aviv in March and has been a free agent for over four months now.
The Durban-born defender had previously been linked with AmaZulu as he was already training with them few months ago to stay fit.
According to Soccer Laduma, Xulu had “decent” offers locally, but has opted to go back overseas.
“Now, the latest news reaching the Siya crew is that Xulu has jetted out of the country to begin a new adventure in Azerbaijan,” Soccer Laduma reported.
“Siya sources have informed the crew that there were a number of decent offers locally on the table for the Bafana Bafana defender, but it appears that the defender has prioritized a move abroad instead.”
