Maritzburg United have released former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brylon Petersen after just one season with the club.
Petersen joined the Team of Choice at the beginning of the previous campaign under the leadership of Ernst Midderndorp.
However, the 26-year-old managed to make only make one appearance and conceded two goals.
He came through Amakhosi’s development ranks before he was released at the start of the 2021/22 season.
iDiskiTimes have learned Petersen is no longer with United, as he was released by the club at the start of the new campaign.
The signing of King Ndlovu made it more difficult for Petersen, in particular with Marcel Engelhardt and Renaldo Leaner also on the club’s books.
