Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed they will play a home game away from home when they host Richards Bay FC at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Amakhosi, who are arguably the most supported club in South Africa have taken home games away from home before and they have now confirmed they will play the DStv Premiership newcomers in their own province of KwaZulu-Natal on 20 August.
In an official statement made on social media on Thursday after a string of announcements which included the signing of Dove Edmilson and the return of David Mathebula into their development structures, the decision will no doubt send excitement to their fan base in KZN.
Chiefs are currently seventh in the DStv Premiership with one defeat and one win from their opening two games ahead of facing champions Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus on Saturday, while they will face the Natal Richboyz the following week.
