Kaizer Chiefs Football Club has suffered a shocking defeat to the KwaZulu-Natal based side, Royal AM Football Club.
There were high hopes when Amakhosi visited Thwihli Thwahla side as it was the first game of the season for both sides.
However, things did not work out for Kaizer Chiefs as they conceded a goal in less than a minute after kick off. The goal was scored by the former Mamelodi Sundowns defender, Ricardo Nascimento.
Arthur Zwane decided to hand the likes of Siyethemba Sithebe, Ashley Du Preez, Yusuf Maart, Dillan Solomons and Zitha Kwinika their debuts.
Dillan Solomons was introduced in the 2nd half, replacing Njabulo Blom in the right-back position.
Dillan Solomons was not able to turn things around. Kaizer chiefs then suffered the first loss of the season.
Things will be a little bit harder for the Soweto based side, as their arch-rivals Orlando Pirates won this afternoon.
