Former Kaizer Chiefs and Zimbabwe midfielder has decided to retire from the professional football after spending just one season with Sekhukhune united.
According to iDiski times, Willard Katsande has officially called it a day in the professional football even though it was reported that he will play for one more season.
Despite retiring from the professional football, Salt and Pepper will continue at Sekhukhune United. He will NOT be a player, but has been offered a new role at the Gauteng side.
He will now be a brand ambassador of the club ahead of the new season.
The 36-year old admitted that he can now not perform at his level best. Which is why he came to a decision that he will no longer be playing football.
The former Zimbabwean midfielder and captain came to South Africa twelve years ago. He joined the Cape town based, Ajax Cape town (now known as Cape town spurs).
