Maritzburg United are believed to be close to securing the signature of long-term defensive target Justice Chabalala.
Chabalala spent last season on loan at Sekhukhune United from parent club Orlando Pirates and now seems set for a move to Maritzburg.
The Buccaneers recently announced that Chabalala had been released after being deemed surplus to requirements after joining in 2016 from Free State Stars.
According to a source close to the club say the Giyani-born player will be donning the blue and white colours of the Team of Choice next season.
“Talks around the club’s corridors is that he is coming this side, but nothing has been confirmed as yet,” the source tells KickOff.
“What I can tell you though, is that the club is indeed interested in the player.
“But the management has asked everyone not to divulge anything until everything is completed, and the club makes a proper announcement about the capture.”
