South African born youngster has finally sorted out his South African paperwork.
Pretoria-born midfielder Kgaogelo Chauke recently visited his country of birth for a holiday following a successful season with Southampton’s reserve side.
Kgaogelo Chauke, who captains The Saints’ reserve side, left South Africa at a very young age with his parents who had moved to the United Kingdom after getting employment opportunities abroad.
He featured in 20 English Premier League 2 games last season while also regularly training with the first team under the watchful eye of coach Ralph Hasenhuttl.
FARPost confirmed that while he was in his homeland, the 19-year-old also took time to sort out his pending South African passport since he had not been in the country in recent years.
He also holds a British passport which gives him dual citizenship.
