News reaching the media are that the Mozambiquian international is on a move once again after his side, Baroka, was relegated to the 2nd division.
Mozambican international Kambala’s contract with relegated Baroka expires at the end of next month.
After three years during which he has averaged 24 games per season, Kambala has three DStv Premiership clubs interested in his services.
Two of those clubs are based in Johannesburg with the other based in Durban.
Though he hasn’t signed with any of the interested clubs this website has been told that he is not keen to remain in Limpopo.
His representative is handling the matter and has been engaging the prospective clubs along with the player on what would best suit him.
Kambala famously scored the header which denied Chiefs the 2019/20 league title with 30 minutes remaining.
The holding midfielder is currently in camp with The Mambas who play in a 2023 AFCON qualifier against Rwanda at FNB Stadium on Thursday.
Atletico Madrid left-back Reinildo Mandava is the star man for Mozambique after featuring 48 games this past season in the UEFA Champions League, Ligue 1 (Lille) and La Liga.
Mandava was ignored by PSL clubs throughout all the three years that he frequented Johannesburg for pre-season camps and tournaments while playing for clubs in Mozambique until he left for Portugal in 2016.
Meanwhile, Malawian forward Richard Mbulu is moving to Golden Arrows.
Mbulu had interest from Libya earlier but will now stay on in the DStv Premiership after the relegation of Baroka.
