The Serbian striker renewed his contract with Amakhosi last season, which was a two-year contract. After an outstanding performance in his first season at the club, Samir Nurkovic received many offers from the clubs abroad.
However, the Kaizer Chiefs Football Club management turned down all those offers as they were banned from the transfer window and could not replace him.
They were then forced to offer him a better contract. After that improved contract, the player has failed to meet the expectations. The striker has now signed a two-year contract with Royal AM Football Club, which also has an option to extend by a year further.

The Serbian striker has been at Amakhosi for almost three years now. His road at the club however has come to an end.
The 29-year old will report to the Royal AM Football Club camp at the end of this season as a free-agent.
His depart leaves a big gap at the Phefeni boys, as it is also reported that the club will be parting ways with the Colombian striker Leo Castro and also Lazouras Kambole.
