Mamelodi Sundowns have been crowned the Dstv Premiership Champions – despite playing a goalless draw against the Cape town based side Cape town city Football Club.
It is a night to remember in Mamelodi as their club has lifted another league trophy. They are lifting it for the 5th time in a row.
Overall, this is the 12th Premier Soccer League title that has been lifted by the Chloorkop based side. That is of course a milestone for the club.
They will now be shifting their focus to the Nedbank Cup competition, hoping to lift the cup and complete yet another treble.
They will face the KwaZulu-Natal high flying side, Royal AM Football Club on the 30th of April this year. Should they manage to progress to the next stage of the competition, they will face either Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila Football Club or Marumo Gallants in the final.
Despite being crowned the Dstv Premiership Champions, Mamelodi Sundowns still have four fixtures left to play in the league.
